Sometimes love misses it's timing and a couple doesn't get formed. It happens because of different reasons both internal and external causing a rift between a beautiful couple. This might not bring as much regret as the way it's shown in the movies however, it still has a certain impact. Maybe, when you meet each other in the future and one of you looks happier and so on.
When this happens in the dating shows 'viewers' mostly feel heart broken and sad. Watching a couple they've been rooting for fall apart because of a misunderstanding which leads to them making other choices really pains them. A famous example is Heart Signal 2's Young Joo and Hyun Woo which till this moment fans continue to hope for their relationship.
However, some couples break the air and finally end up dating. For instance...
1. Love Catcher's Chae Won and Ji yeon
Everyone thought that Chae Won was going to choose Ji yeon but he hesitated at the end and went on to the other girl. Because of this the viewers thought Love Catcher was scripted and it being broadcast on the most hated channel ever that didn't help the claims.
However last year they finally announced that they were together making everyone's dream come true.
"we knew you liked each other..."
"... wow I was rooting for you guys on Love Catcher..."
"I hope you guys happiness..." etc.
Although this happiness didn't last too long because they parted ways but wasn't it quenching the thirst. At least we got to see them loving each other, caring for each other and more.
They both u followed each other on Instagram and deleted their posts together. However, you can enjoy the only crumb left from them.
2. Love Timing's Xiao Ma and Meng Meng
Wow... no one ever expected these two to be together. They had very little interactions in the show and when they interacted it was solely to help each other with their relationships.They both didn't end up with someone because they had different perspectives and views on certain matters.
But earlier last year they announced that they had good feelings with each other and started sharing some pictures with their fans. As unexpected as it was of their relationship, their parting was also unexpected. It wasn't that long of a relationship but they sure did achieve romance after the show.
3. Let's Fall in Love's Chen Qian and Xuan Nie
Everyone who watched Let's Fall in Love will always remember the pain that this couple caused. Their love was too obvious but it just wasn't the right time or the right moment. Pain and pain and more pain. The way they looked at each other, spent moments together but the communication was just not right.
Every date they spent together and not even one time did they change partners. After the first part of the show they decided to be friends. The show gave them a second chance to appear in the last part of the show.
Xuan didn't think that Chen would show up because she thought that he didn't care about her. However, when he appeared at the door her eyes changed, they had longing written in them. He also had changed, Chen knew that he had made a mistake and he wanted to correct it. His eyes were apologetic and sorry towards Xuan.
Although they came for the second chance another heart break met them as Xuan didn't show up to meet Chen. She wasn't ready you could say or she was tired of running alone. Chen shed tears and more tears even after Xuan came. He didn't find the right words thus resulting to them not being a couple.
A year later, the world was healed after they announced their relationship. They became a legendary couple and an iconic one to finally find their long due romance after the show.
They have been sweet ever since.
