WAYS AFTER BREAK UP

It's always painful to recover from a breakup, more so if one was completely attached to it. It doesn't matter if you have a strong mentality or strong self love, breakups usually leave an empty space inside you. That space which was once filled with love and because of that you felt loved. But now that love is gone and doubt replaces it, it becomes your weak spot. Makes you scared of even the thought of being in a relationship.

Some will shut off and some will use other means to cope. For instance one might find another partner right away, running away from their pain instead of facing it.

After a painful breakup it's normal to build walls around your heart, it's normal to develop a defense mechanism to avoid getting hurt. The firmness of this defense depends on your choice of letting go or acceptance. 

Although it takes time to lower your defenses and allow a new person to fill up the void. This way makes it safer for both parties and makes them really put their feelings into the relationship. Hence you should take your time until you decide to start a new relationship.

 

No body should try getting into a relationship while they aren't ready mentally. In most cases you'll end up hurting the other party or worse hurting yourself.

Take an example of Lee Haneul from Love Catcher in Seoul. Haneul told us the story of her first love ending in more pain than she could imagine. 

She truly suffered, which led to her distrust in relationships and romance as a whole. The shock from that relationship lives inside her till date.

Pain last the longest from those we held dear to us and until we are ready to accept it, it'll haunt us everyday. 

However, the doubt was evident as she chose to let go of the guy who showed interest in her. She says in her instagram story after the show ended...

"...I was afraid, doubtful and that's why I couldn't change my identity. I felt sad the moment I saw his identity and cried so much..."

She was not ready for a relationship and yet she came to the show. She hadn't accepted what happened to her but still she came to the show.

However, the duration for the show was short and didn't give room for recovery. The show itself makes people doubt each other and while some went to find love others were there to use them to get money.
